Pokedex entry: Ampharos gives off so much light that it can be seen even from space. People in the old days used the light of this Pokémon to send signals back and forth with others far away.

P.S. I had been thinking of an aquarium being the main location for Ampharos to be in. I know it doesn't exactly reflect an aquarium very well here but I tried XD The theme for this one was 'Sting', get it? Electricity stings and jellies sting. (Shhhh... I know these jellies don't exist in the Poke-universe but ya know~) I've been down in the dumps in terms of Pokemon-related art. Not quite sure if I'm happy with the outcome of this one.
